About Our Temple
The Devi Sri Navasakthi Durgai Amman Paandimuni Temple is situated in Taman Serdang Raya, Seri Kembangan, Selangor. According to the 63-year-old Chairman, Mr. Selvam, the temple was initially constructed with boards and zinc roofing in 1987. Devotees from the surrounding Seri Kembangan area visit this temple to engage in prayer rituals. At that time, the temple housed only a small statue of Goddess Amman and a trident (Soolam). However, in 1989, due to the construction of the Plus Sungai Besi - Kuala Lumpur motorway, the temple had to be relocated to a different adjacent location. After nearly nine years, Sri Dewika Enterprise, the developer, provided the temple with permanent land in 1993. The 1998 Commonwealth Games held at the Bukit Jalil stadium led to enhancements in the temple's surrounding area and architectural features.The temple is functioning well now. All seasonal pujas and festivals are going well. It is the main place of worship of the People living in this area.
