About Our Temple
This temple is believed to have been founded by Mr. Muniswaran Sinna Karuppar Mandoor, an Indian, and the staff members of the Ampang Municipal Council. In Ampang town, it is among the oldest temples. The yearly Thiruvilla held at this temple is the last one celebrated in Ampang. The Muniswarar deity in this temple is fifteen feet tall. Furthermore, a statue of the God Arasamarathadi Karupar Saami is still present in this temple. Workers from the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council oversee this temple. Even now, a large number of devotees visit this temple during the annual festival of Maha Shivarathri.
