About Our Temple
Devi Sri Maha Mariamman Temple is located in Parit Buntar, Perak. In the 1960s, the residents of this area built the temple with the desire to have a place of worship within their community. In the early days, Mariamman was worshipped as the guardian deity in a small wooden hut. In 1989, the temple management planned to renovate and modernize the temple. However, due to insufficient funds, the project was temporarily shelved. Later, with donations from devotees and the support of kind-hearted individuals, the renovation work began. A new temple was constructed, and the Kumbabishekam (consecration ceremony) was successfully conducted in 1998. The current temple management has officially registered the temple and ensures its proper upkeep. Today, all rituals and festivals are conducted with great devotion. The temple has become a prominent place of worship for the local community, serving as an important spiritual hub for the residents.
