About Our Temple

Sri Adi Karpaga Vinayagar Temple is located in Simpang Lima, Parit Buntar, Perak. In 1920, Tamil plantation workers in the area began worshipping Karpaga Vinayagar. Initially, a small wooden shelter was built under a banyan tree to house the Vinayagar idol, where prayers were conducted. After the 1950s, the temple management took significant efforts to renovate and rebuild the temple. Following the renovations, the consecration ceremony Kumbabishekam was conducted with grandeur. The temple is now officially registered, and all rituals and festivals are performed with devotion and regularity. The Vinayagar Chaturthi celebrations at this temple are especially notable and attract many devotees. It is also the only Vinayagar temple in the region, making it a significant spiritual landmark for the local community.
