About Our Temple
The Om Sakthi Sivanantha Raja Malai Maha Muniswarar Temple is located in Kuala Kangsar, Perak. This temple was built in 1940 by an employee of the Bukit Chandan Kuala Kangsar Palace, making it approximately 82 years old. Between 1972 and 1978, the workers constructed a relatively small temple, and it received a special blessing ceremony conducted by the Indian religious saint, Sithar Arumugam. Subsequently, in 2011, the Malaysian Organisation Registration Department officially registered the temple as the Om Shakti Sivanantha Raja Malai Maha Muniswarar Bukit Chandan Kuala Kangsar temple. The government provided permission for a Kumbabhishegam ceremony, which took place on November 18, 2012.
