About Our Temple
The Sri Subramanyar Alaya Devasthana Paribalana Saba is located in Sungai Siput Perak. Established in 1923 by a group of individuals, the temple was originally owned by Mr. E. Karala Pillai, whose family subsequently established a trust and entrusted the temple to it. The legally designated trustees include Mr. AMS Periyasamy Pillai, Mr. V. Meenakshi Sundaram, and Mr. E. Karala Pillai. Currently, the temple is celebrating its centenary and is under the management of a temple committee. Inside the temple's sanctum sanctorum (Moolasthanam), there is a 100-year-old VEL, which was brought from Kathirgamam, Sri Lanka. The temple is registered and hosts grand celebrations for Thaipusam and Kanda Sasthi festivals.
