About Our Temple
The Sri Onggara Kaliamman Temple is located in Tawas, Perak. It was founded 62 years ago by Mr. Supramaniam. Initially, the temple was constructed using wooden boards and had a zinc roof, with no additional facilities. In recent times, the temple has been reconstructed and expanded using bricks, thanks to donations from devoted worshippers. The temple now boasts 27 deities. Festivals such as Vinayagar Chaturthi, Navarathiri, Ammavasai, Pournami, and Pradosam are celebrated with great enthusiasm every year. The temple's annual Aadi Thiruvilla festival is also celebrated in a grand manner.
