About Our Temple
The Sri Ramar Temple was built in 1931 by the village community. The villagers, with the intention of having a temple in their residential area, constructed this temple. Although the region had several temples dedicated to deities like Maha Mariamman, Muneeswaran, Murugan, and Vinayagar, there was no temple for Lord Rama, which led the villagers to build this temple. Festivals such as Rama Navami and Krishna Jayanti are celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm at this temple.
