About Our Temple
The Sri Subramaniar Temple is located in Manjung, Perak. It was established in the 1970s by the local fishing community. In the early days, a Vel (spear) was placed under a tree for worship. Later, the Tamil community in the area built a small temple and began worshipping Lord Murugan. With the efforts of the temple management, a new temple structure was eventually constructed, and the Kumbabishekam (consecration ceremony) was performed. Additionally, shrines for Vinayagar, Amman, and Muneeswaran were also established. Today, the temple is officially registered and functions efficiently, serving as a significant place of worship for the community.
