About Our Temple
In 1910, the residents of Kampung Ambika in Ayer Tawar, Perak, who were of Tamil descent, paid homage to Goddess Ambika by installing a trident. In 1972, following the sale of the farm, the farm's owner, Chettiar, generously allocated 1/4 Acre of land for the construction of a temple. Subsequently, the temple administration made the decision to construct a new temple. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of the temple management and the devotion of followers, the Ambikai Amman temple was erected in 1997, with the successful conduct of the first Kumbabhishekam ceremony. At present, the temple holds official registration, and all religious ceremonies and rituals are being conducted smoothly.
