About Our Temple
In the 1940s, Ayer Tawar town was surrounded by numerous farms, but despite the presence of temples in the vicinity, the town itself lacked one. Recognizing the need for a temple in the Tamil-populated area, individuals like Mr. Chinnasamy, Mr. Kaliyappan, and Mr. Muthappan took significant initiatives. Since finding a suitable location was challenging, Mr. Kaliyappan generously offered his own land for the temple's construction. Consequently, in 1959, a small Krishnarayalayam temple was built under the supervision of the temple management. Later, through the combined efforts of the temple management and devotees, a major renovation took place in 1990, culminating in the first consecration ceremony. Presently, the temple is registered and conducts all rituals in a distinctive manner.
