About Our Temple
The Sri Maha Ettimariamman Temple was built in 1920, and it has now completed 105 years. The temple was established by Tamil laborers brought from India during British colonial rule in Malaysia. In its early days, the temple was a small hut under a tree. After the 1960s, the temple management carried out extensive renovations and rebuilding, transforming the temple into its current form. Thanks to the efforts of the current temple management, the temple has seen significant growth. The temple is now officially registered, and all rituals and festivals are conducted with great devotion. One of the most special festivals celebrated here is the Chithra Pournami festival, which holds significant importance for the devotees.
