About Our Temple
Around 120 years ago, prior to the period of colonization in the Jaffna peninsula, Tamil workers from the Jaffna district were employed in the rubber plantation area of Bahagian Klang Baru, Banting. During that era, a statue of Lord Vinayagar and Murugan was brought over from Sri Lanka. In 1992, a new temple incorporating both deities was built. Regrettably, there is currently limited information about this temple. Currently, there are plans to construct a new temple, but specific details about this undertaking are not yet available.
