About Our Temple
In 1974, a significant number of Tamils migrated and settled in the Teluk Panglima, Banting, region, prompting the decision to establish a Maha Mariamman Temple in the area. Mr. A.K. Sinnaiyah PPN formally requested the government's approval for the temple's construction. With the dedicated efforts of Mr. Sinnaiyah and Mr. P.K. Perumal, the temple was officially consecrated in 1976 during the first Kumbabishekam ceremony. Over the years, the temple experienced growth and development. In 2001, a comprehensive renovation was undertaken, culminating in a special Kumbabishekam ceremony. The temple is currently registered and conducts its rituals and ceremonies regularly.
