About Our Temple
The Tanjong Sepat Sri Maha Mariamman Temple was established in 1906 by the Tamil community. In the early days, a small shrine was set up with a modest-sized idol, and worship ceremonies were conducted with devotion. In 1986, it was renamed Sri Maha Mariamman Temple and underwent a significant renovation. With the dedicated efforts of the temple management, the entire temple premises were completely renovated, and in 2002, the first Kumbabishegam ceremony took place with great significance. Currently, the temple is duly registered, and all worship ceremonies are conducted with utmost reverence.
