About Our Temple
The Sri Maha Mariamman Temple is located in Ladang Changkat Asa, Hulu Bernam, Selangor, and is believed to have been established in 1968 by the local community. Initially, it took the form of a small hut constructed with wooden planks and a zinc roof. Within this humble structure, the locals placed a portrait of Goddess Amman for worship, believing in her power to bless devotees through their prayers. As the number of devotees increased, the temple gained more significance. Under the auspices of the new temple management, a permanent stone building has been erected, financed by public donations. The temple is officially registered, and an annual celebration of Aadi Thiruvilla is observed with enthusiasm.
