About Our Temple
Around 1918, the Tamil laborers employed at the Perak Ayer Tawar farm in New Columbia used to worship Muneeswaran and Mariamman. In subsequent years, a small temple was constructed with the collaborative efforts of Mr. Kunji Raman and Mr. Thapa Nair. Subsequently, through the dedicated work of the later temple management, the temple underwent a comprehensive renovation in 2007, coinciding with the successful conduct of the first Kumbabhishekam for the new temple. The temple has been duly registered, ensuring the proper execution of all religious ceremonies and pujas. Presently, the temple stands prominently along the Ipoh Highway, presenting a majestic appearance.
