About Our Temple
In 1969, a belief in "Datuk Samy" existed in the region, even though there was no temple in the vicinity. The local community found the perspective of Datuk Samy unsettling. One day, a revelation from Dewa Muniandy manifested in a man's body, instructing him to abandon his previous faith in "Datuk Samy" and urging him to construct a temple dedicated to and pray for Lord Muniandy. Upon receiving approval from the locals, the neighborhood commenced building a small temple and conducting prayers. Presently, the temple is officially registered under the management, and a grand celebration of Mariamman Thiruvilla takes place every year.
