In the 1970s, Tamil residents living in the Bukit Rokan Utara Gemenceh Felda settlement decided to build a temple in their community, with the goal of establishing a place of worship. The temple started as a small shrine under a tree. Later, a formal request was made to the government, and the temple was granted its own land. After several attempts, under the leadership of Mr. Subban Subramaniam ,the temple management, devotees, and some kind-hearted individuals contributed to building a new temple. The consecration ceremony (Kumbabhishekam) for the new temple took place successfully in 1982. Today, the temple serves as an important place of worship for the people living in the area.
