About Our Temple
Prior to 1939, the temple was situated in the "Kijaikaade" estate. However, in 1939, it underwent relocation to Gankee Farm in Gemencheh, where a small temple, constructed with wooden planks and a zinc roof, was established. By 1970, the temple underwent modest expansion under the management, accommodating a capacity of 10 to 20 people. Concurrently, Gemencheh evolved into a city. In 1987, under the chairmanship of Mr. Parthiban, significant developments occurred. During that year, a poet composed and sang 365 "Amman antathi" for an entire year, culminating in a launch ceremony held on the Tamil New Year in front of an audience of 20 people.

In 1987, Mr. Kaverinathan Sinnapan, a Malaysian poet and the son of Archagar Sinnapan, undertook a remarkable endeavor titled "A Religious Song Daily" (Dinamum Oru Thirupaadal). This initiative involved singing 365 songs known as "Amman anthathi" each day for an entire year. The handwritten songs were debuted on the Tamil New Year and served as a prayer to God.
