About Our Temple

The people in the neighbourhood estimate that this temple in Ampang has been there for more than 38 years. Its exact year of founding is still a mystery. The idols of the Gods and Goddesses in this temple, according to the locals, were initially discovered in a cave. Later on, they erected a little wooden temple and began praying there. At first, the Lord Sivan idol was discovered in the cave and taken to the temple's Moolastham. The caves that encircle the temple were altered to make room for the current structure. This shrine still contains the cave's remnants. Later, once the temple was taken over by new management, it underwent renovations to become a two-story building. Many devotees still come to this temple during Navarathri prayers.
