About Our Temple
Sri Maha Mariamman Temple is located in Perak Temo. The need for a temple arose within the residential community to ensure both safety and a place of worship for the People. In response to this, Mr. Velayutham Arunachala Thevar constructed the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple in 1933. In its early days, the temple was a small structure made of wooden planks. The idol of Goddess Ambal in the temple was crafted using cement. Over time, the devotees of the temple united and raised funds to renovate and completely restore the temple. Today, the temple is officially registered and continues to function with prayers annual celebrations.
