About Our Temple
The Sri Maha Masana Kaliamman Temple is situated in Ampang, Selangor, and it was founded in 1994 by Mr. Subramaniam Sinniah. In its initial phase, the temple consisted of a small hut constructed with wooden planks and a zinc roof. Devotees placed a statue of Amman inside the temple and engaged in worship, believing that she answered their prayers. The temple became a place of pilgrimage for numerous devotees in the surrounding area. Under the management of the new leadership, a more permanent stone structure has been built to replace the original hut. The temple is currently in the process of applying for official registration. Additionally, the annual festival of Aadi Thiruvilla is celebrated at this temple.
