About Our Temple
Sri Maha Muthu Mariamman Temple is located in the town of Trong, Perak state. Built on the TRP estate, this temple was constructed 160 years ago by Tamil workers who were employed on the plantation. The temple was initially established by the Indian community for performing prayer rituals. At the beginning, the temple was only a small hut. Later, through the efforts of the temple management and with the support of devotees and generous donations, a new temple was built. Deity idols were also brought from India. Today, the temple is registered, and all rituals and festivals are conducted in a grand manner.
