About Our Temple
The Sri Madurai Veeran Temple is located in Kuala Kangsar, Perak. It was established by individuals who worked at the Kuala Kangsar railway station. Initially, the temple was situated on railway land, adjacent to the railway tracks. In the early days, the Sri Madurai Veeran Temple was a simple structure built with basic stones in a hut-like form. Later, the land where the temple stood was required by the railway department for the construction of new railway tracks. As a result, the temple was relocated to its current site. In 2007, with the support of the temple administration and devotees, a new temple was constructed, and a Kumbabishekam (consecration ceremony) was performed. Today, the temple is officially registered, and all rituals and festivals are celebrated with great devotion.
