About Our Temple
The Sri Muniandy Temple is situated in Kuala Lipis, Pahang, and has been in existence since 1930 when the area was referred to as Townboard by the Indian community, serving as workers' quarters. The temple was constructed by the Indian community in Kuala Lipis, featuring a small hut made of wooden boards and a zinc roof. Inside the temple, a brick was placed to symbolize Lord Muniswarar, and devotees prayed to Him. Lord Muniswarar is believed to be a protective deity, and devotees trust that their prayers receive blessings from Him. This temple is officially registered under the Registrar of Societies (ROS), and its annual festival is celebrated as Aadi Thiruvilla.
