About Our Temple
The Sri Muneeswarar Temple is located on Bukit Ungku Pusu in Lumut. It is believed that the temple was established in 1902. The local community initially built the temple using wooden planks and a thatched roof, constructing a simple hut for worship. Inside the hut, they placed a trident and began worshipping Lord Muneeswarar. Later, with the efforts of the temple management, the temple underwent a complete renovation and modernization. Today, the temple is officially registered, and all rituals and festivals are conducted with great devotion.
