About Our Temple
Sri Muneeswarar Ayya Temple was established about 80 years ago. In the early days, the people living in Indera Mahkota Kuantan, Pahang, used to worship Lord Muneeswarar as a guardian deity by placing trident. Over time, the Tamils who worked in the fields moved to the suburbs. In later days, the Tamils living in the area started worshiping Lord Muneeswaran by building a temple in their residential area and Kumbabhishekam was performed. Now the temple is properly registered, and all the poojas are conducted smoothly.
