About Our Temple
Sri Murugan Temple was built in 1965. In ancient times, many devotees believed that this temple, located in this estate, was blessed with a powerful deity. Tamil People living in the surrounding areas revered Murugan as their guardian deity and regularly worshipped Him. In the initial days, a sAcred spear (Vel) was placed, and rituals were performed. Later, with the permission of the estate management, a small temple was constructed, and Khumbabishegam ceremonies were conducted. Despite the Tamil population shifting to urban areas, they continue to participate in the special worship and festivals held at the temple. Currently, the temple is well-organized, and all ceremonies are conducted with great reverence.
