About Our Temple
The Sri Murugan Temple, constructed in the 1920s by the Tamil community residing in Brooklands Estate, was established to venerate Murugan as their protective deity. A century later, in 2023, through the dedicated efforts of the current temple management and devotees, the temple underwent reconstruction and the Kumbabhishekam ceremony was conducted. The ancient black stone Murugan statue, over a century old, continues to be revered in the main shrine (Moolastham). The present temple administration, having officially registered the temple, diligently performs all the rituals and ceremonies.
