About Our Temple
The Sri Nagamma Temple is located in Kuala Kangsar, Perak. Prior to the establishment of this temple, there was a 50-year-old python mound known as Nagamma Putthu on the site. The identity of the current owner of the temple remains unknown to the local community. However, the decision was made to expand and improve the temple. With limited funds, the villagers constructed a small hut using wooden planks and a zinc roof, where they placed an image of Nagamma for worship. They conducted prayers and offered their devotion to the goddess, and it was believed that many of their prayers were granted. Over time, this temple has been upgraded into a stone structure and has received official registration from the Registrar of Societies (ROS). The annual festival of Aadi Thiruvilla is celebrated with great enthusiasm.
