About Our Temple

In 1964, Mr. Ranggan's son, Mr. Suppiah, had the intention of constructing a temple dedicated to Sri Rangaraja to express gratitude for recovering from an illness. During this period, Mr. Annamalai and Mr. C.I.D. Kuppusamy worked diligently for the establishment of this temple. The temple officially commenced its operations in 1967, featuring statues of Sri Ranganatha, Sri Garuda, and Sri Pillaiyar. The Selangor State Government provided funding for the construction of this temple. Subsequently, in 1978, under the guidance of Mr. Ramanuja Muniyandi, statues of Sri Mahalakshmi and Sri Anjaneyar were installed. Since 1978, Mr. Ramanuja Muniandi has been overseeing the administration of the temple. In 2000, during the construction of the Putra Jaya building, an order was issued to relocate the temple to another location. However, due to the efforts of Datuk Sri Sami Velu, the relocation process was postponed. From 2005 onwards, grand Kumbabhishekam ceremonies have been regularly conducted. The temple houses statues of Sri Dhanvantri, Swami Sri Andal, Garuda, Ananda Sayana Perumal, Sri Saneeswaran, Sri Hanuman, 12 Panchaloka Alvars, Sri Ramanujar, and Sri Raghavendra Swami. In 2016, Kumbabhishekam was successfully conducted with strong support from the Hindu community.
