About Our Temple
In 1960, the Tamil community residing in Perak Sitiawan Kampung Acheh erected a Sri Shanmuganathar temple. Initially, they constructed a modest temple for their worship. However, due to reasons such as urban development projects leading to the sale of farm land, the temple had to be relocated to the Kg. Sri Acheh area in 1980. Through the dedicated efforts of the temple management, the temple underwent a complete restoration in 2000, marked by the performance of the Kumbabhishekam ceremony. The ownership of the temple land has been officially registered in the name of the temple. Currently, all religious ceremonies and pujas are conducted smoothly at the Sri Shanmuganathar temple.
