About Our Temple
The Sri Shanmuganathar Temple, located in the Banting region, was established in the 1930s by the People who worked in the plantations. Those who were employed in the plantations initiated the construction of the temple and dedicated it as a divine place of worship. Although comprehensive historical records about the temple are not readily available, the current temple authorities diligently maintain and organize rituals and ceremonies. The temple stands today as a significant center for the spiritual practices and celebrations of the local community.
