About Our Temple
The Sri Shiva Shanmugar Temple is situated in Sungai Siput Utara, Perak. Tradition holds that this temple was established in 1902 by the local community residing in the area. This cave temple is located within the premises of what was once known as Phin Soon Farm, now known as Sungai Siput Farm. A new temple was built with the help of the devotees and the donation of some good souls through the efforts of the temple management who came later. The temple was reconstructed in 2002 and was successfully completed in 2011. It is dedicated to the worship of Lord Murugan as the primary deity and is a place of devotion for its followers. The annual festival of Thaipusam is celebrated here, and the temple has been officially registered.
