About Our Temple
In July 1965, a Kumbabhishekam ceremony was conducted for the Muneeswaran deity at the temple located near the JKR Kajang residential area. One night, around 1 o'clock, Amman manifested in the form of a man and instructed the construction of a temple at that location. The area, previously occupied by a snake's mound amid bushes, was cleared, and a small hut for Ambal was erected for worship. In the same year, with the assistance of the public, Mr. Kandasamy, Mr. Lingam, and Mr. Annamalai established the Sree Shiva Veerapatra Kaliamman and Parivar Murthy deities, culminating in a Kumbabhishekam ceremony on January 29, 1978. On the 29th day, Sri Jagannath Gurukkal conducted Kumbabhishekam for Vinayagar, Sivalingam, Kaliamman, Subramaniam, Navagrahgam, and Parivar Murthy, along with Mandalabhishekam for 48 days. In 1979, Brahma Sri Muthukumaraswamy Guru provided an exquisite Sri Chakra within 18 months. The temple witnessed its first Kumbabhishekam on 10-02-1965, the second on 10-02-1979, and the third on 10-02-1985. Notably, the temple possesses a silver chariot. A grand Maha Kumbabhishekam ceremony took place on 10-02-2002.
