About Our Temple
In the 1950s, many Tamil people lived in the Kuala Kubu Bharu area. With the intention of having a temple in their residential area, they decided to build the Sri Sithi Vinayagar Temple. Under the leadership of Mr. P. Sollaiyappan and the late Mr. N. Thillaiyambalam, a formal request was submitted to the government for a separate piece of land to construct the temple. In 1961, a plot of land was allocated, and construction works began. Despite various challenges, the temple was built with donations from devotees and several kind-hearted individuals. In 1967, the construction was completed, and the consecration ceremony (Kumbabishekam) of the new Sri Sithi Vinayagar Temple was held successfully. The temple was later formally registered and renovated with several changes. At present, all daily prayers and festivals are conducted well, and the temple continues to be an important place of worship for the people living in the area.
