About Our Temple
In the 19th century, Indians who migrated from Tamil Nadu to Malaya requested British officials to establish a temple on the Cashfield estate. This place is now known as Puchong. Initially managed by the estate administration, the temple was later handed over to the estate residents in 1922. Subsequently, in 1935, the temple was renovated, expanded, and became a larger establishment. At that time, Mr. Munusamy, who was a writer, was appointed as the head of the temple management committee. In 1980, the cik saidin organization acquired land from Harrison and Grassfield, which was later purchased by Wawasan Indra Company. A dispute arose over land ownership, leading to a legal investigation. Eventually, the court ruled in favor of the temple, and Wawasan Indra Company allocated half an acre of land to the temple. The temple is now properly registered and functioning well.
