About Our Temple

In 1968, Sri Balayogi Swamy established Thirumurugan Thiruvaku Thirupeedam, located in Petaling Jaya. The organization officially registered in 1970, and in 1995, the temple building was constructed, hosting its inaugural Kumbabhishekam. Under the guidance of Sri Balayogi Swami, the temple has been meticulously overseen. The temple features a 4-foot-tall statue of Murugan, holding a majestic spear (Vel). Sri Balayogi Swamy conducts special morning and evening pujas, leading the temple administration with tranquility. Devotees receive valuable advice, financial assistance, and material support from Sri Balayogi Swami. In 2014, he organized the International Muruga Bhakti Conference in Switzerland. Dedicated to the temple, Sri Balayogi Swami devoted his entire life, culminating in the second Kumbabhishekam on September 10, 2010.
