About Our Temple
The Subramaniya Temple is in Kuala Lipis, Pahang. It was established by a Chettiar, who lived in that area. Wanting to create a space for Tamils to live in the outskirts of the Kuala Lipis area, he wished to establish a temple as a symbol of their presence. Following this desire, with the efforts of Chettiar and the local People, funds were raised, and the temple of Lord Subramaniya was constructed. Chettiyaar also submitted a formal request to the government for a dedicated piece of land for the temple. The temple is currently registered and hosts various special events, including Murugan worship and Kanda Sashti celebrations.
