About Our Temple
The Sri Subramaniar Temple was established by the Tamil community residing in Tangkak, Johor region. In the 1950s, the Tamil residents decided to construct a temple for Lord Murugan in their own residential area. The temple management committee was formed, and with the financial contributions and support of the devotees, they managed to gather the necessary funds. Later, in 1958, they purchased a piece of land for the construction of the temple, and the Kumbhabhishekam ceremony took place grandly. Today, the Sri Subramaniar Temple stands as a prominent center of Murugan worship, illuminating the spiritual life of the People in the region.
