About Our Temple
The Sri Veeramman Kaliyamman temple was established in 1989 in the Banting Jenjarom area by Mr. Subramaniam Janaki's family. Mr. Subramaniam Janaki and his family built the temple in dedication to Veeramman Kaliyamman. During that time, Mrs. Janaki prayed for a child, and subsequently, a son was born. At the same time, Letchumi Ammal, who was living in the area, also received blessings and was inspired to establish her residence in the vicinity of the temple. Later, Mr. Mamundi Devar constructed a small temple in the area. In 2000, the temple management decided to renovate and expand the entire temple, and in 2002, the Khumbabishegam ceremony took place with grandly. Currently, the temple conducts all its rituals and ceremonies with utmost reverence.
