About Our Temple
The Arulmiku Devi Sri KaruMariamman Temple was constructed in 1994 through the collective efforts of the residents of Klang. The inaugural Kumbabhishekam ceremony for this temple took place in 1995. Spanning an expansive area of 2 acres, this Karumariyamman temple is substantial in size. Within its premises, distinct temples dedicated to Murugan, Vinayagar, Durgai Amman, Madurai Veeran, and Arasamarathu Vinayagar have been erected, where worshippers gather for devotional practices. The temple actively observes the annual Aadi Pooram festival, marked by a vibrant procession of the Goddess Amman through the residential area. Additionally, the temple offers a well-equipped marriage hall and hosts Bharatanatyam classes every Friday. As a significant place of worship for the residents of the Klang area, the Karumariyamman temple underwent a second Kumbabhishekam in 2015.
