About Our Temple
The Arulmigu Sri Muneeswarar Temple can be found in Menglembu, Perak. It was founded in 1933 by Indian estate workers who had migrated to Malaysia. The statue of their deity was transported from India and installed within a wooden structure. They revered Lord Muneeswarar as a guardian deity and sought his blessings for their welfare. In its early years, the practice of animal sacrifice was observed. However, in later years, the temple's new administration oversaw the construction of a larger temple, and the practice of animal sacrifice was discontinued.
