About Our Temple
Arulmigu Sri Rajarajeswari Amman Temple is located in Mekalembu, Ipoh, Perak, and was established in 1972. In the 1970s, the Tamil People living in the area felt the need for a place of worship within their community, so they began worshipping Rajarajeswari Amman. Initially, they built a small temple to offer prayers. After the 1990s, the temple management made significant efforts to completely renovate and rebuild the old temple. Following this, the Kumbabishekam of the new temple was conducted with great celebration. The current temple management has officially registered the temple and ensures its proper maintenance. All regular rituals and festivals are conducted with devotion, and they are well-organized. One of the most special celebrations at this temple is the Navaratri festival, which is considered highly significant and celebrated with great enthusiasm.
