About Our Temple
Sri Maha Mariamman Temple is located in Patthukaja, Perak. In 1907, Mr. William Kellis Smith built this temple as a mark of gratitude to Sri Maha Mariamman for blessing him and his wife with a son. The temple has since fulfilled the worship needs of the People living in the area. Additionally, it has become a place where those without children, or facing issues related to their children, offer special prayers. The People believe that this Mariamman is very powerful, and their prayers are answered quickly. As a result, large numbers of devotees participate in the special prayers and festivals held at this temple. The current temple management has officially registered the temple and maintains it well, ensuring that all regular rituals and festivals are conducted with great devotion and care. In addition to Mariamman, the temple also houses idols of the Nine Planets (Navagraha), Lord Shiva, Lord Murugan, and Lord Vinayagar.
