About Our Temple
Om Sri Muneeswarar Temple is located in Lahad, Perak, and was established in 1970 by Tamil workers who were employed in the Pinji estate. In the early days, the workers constructed a small wooden hut and placed a trident to worship Muneeswarar as their guardian deity. They believed that Muneeswaran protected them from wild animals, diseases, and other harmful forces. Later, under the efforts of the temple management, a new temple was built, and the Kumbabishekam was performed. The temple is now officially registered, and all rituals are conducted with devotion and grandeur.
