About Our Temple
The Devi Sree Sudalai Kaliamman Temple is located on Jalan Silibin, Ipoh, Perak. It was founded in 1950 by an individual named Kattayar. In its early days, it was a modest shelter made of wooden planks and a zinc roof. Kattayar had a dream in which Kaliamman instructed him to construct a temple in her honor. Acting upon this divine guidance, he built the small hut and placed an image of Kaliamman inside, where he offered his devotions. Word of this temple spread throughout the Silibin community, leading to visits from local residents who came to offer their prayers. The primary festival celebrated in this temple is Maasi Magam. Additionally, this temple has been officially registered under the Registrar of Societies (ROS).
