About Our Temple
The Mamarattar Muniswarar Temple can be found in Chemor, Perak. In 2011, the Hindu community residing in the vicinity of Chemor town came together to establish this temple. In its initial stages, the temple was created beneath the shade of a tree, consisting of a small hut constructed from wooden planks and featuring a zinc roof. Inside the temple, a spear (Soolam) was positioned and revered. After a few years, the temple underwent a renovation, thanks to contributions from the owner and the local devotees. With the funds collected, a stone structure was built, and a stone representation of Lord Muniswarar was also created. Even today, this temple continues to draw a significant number of devotees.
