About Our Temple
The Dewa Sri Ramar Temple, situated in Buntong, Ipoh, Perak, came into existence in 1952 during the period of Japanese colonization. Originally, it took the form of a humble hut with a zinc roof, funded through contributions from the local residents. Over time, the temple underwent a transformation, with the new management overseeing its conversion into a stone structure building. Within the temple's premises, one can often spot numerous monkeys scurrying about. The central deity of the temple, Lord Ramar, resides in the Moolasthanam, and the local inhabitants hold a strong belief in his ability to bestow them with good fortune.
